Holiday Club at Safari Play
for 5-9 year olds
Jungle Kids Holiday Club is held at Jungle Tots Day Nursery and Safari Adventure Play in Peterborough

Each week is themed and built into a block of 4 days, so we highly recommend you book a full week at time (you need to select ALL the dates each week as this is a new booking system to last year). Booking a full week at time is the best way for children to learn and develop various skills, build friendships and experience all the Holiday Club has to offer.
Each week consists of 4 days (9:15am – 13:15pm) which includes a healthy hot meal and healthy snacks provided each day as well as drinks. The Holiday Club Manager carefully plans each week so there is a completely different activity each of the 4 days, giving a complete blended learning experience over the course of the block.
Children will enjoy, sports, games, arts and crafts, daily challenges, movies, and themed activities, led by experienced staff. We will use the indoor Safari Play venue before it opens as well as the great new outside area to play sports and games. We do also go off-site to do various activities such as ten-pin bowling, scavengers hunts, ice skating and visiting the Peterborough Museum.
Jungle Tots and Safari Play are providing outstanding activity-based childcare for your children from ages 5 to 9 years for children that are eligible and receive BENEFITED RELATED FREE SCHOOL MEALS (hence funded for the Department for Education). If you are not eligible for these benefits and still wish a place there are some paid for spaces available.
Week 1: Monday 5th – Thursday 8th August 9:15am – 13:15pm
Week 2: Monday 12th – Thursday 15th August, 9:15am – 13:15pm
Week 3: Monday 19th – Thursday 22nd August, 9:15am – 13:15pm
Week 4: Tuesday 27th – Friday 30th August (bank holiday so will run (Tuesday- Friday)
If you want to find out quickly about your eligibility, you can use the online free school meals form as you will not only get an answer quickly but your child will be added to the main FSM list and they may receive additional support such as the Holiday Supermarket Vouchers. We are providing this provision to help parents with their childcare needs and for children that want to come along and enjoy being with their friends in a safe welcoming environment.

Additional information
The FREE Jungle Kids Holiday Club, including a free healthy meal, is funded by the Department for Education via Peterborough Council. The Department for Education decides the criteria, not Jungle Tots or Safari Play. This is totally out of our control and we wish we could offer more fully funded places.
We will cater for most allergies and we ask for details on the online booking form. If we have any questions we will give you a call. Rachel, our day nursery manager is also responsible for the Jungle Kids Holiday Club.
